confused cops Two persons were arrested on Monday regarding the the dying
of the 21-year-old lady who had been allegedly exposed to black magic to
eliminate an actual condition. P Athira, a local of Vadasserikkara in Kerala’s
Pathanamthitta district, died last Friday.The 2 persons arrested were the girl’s uncle Valsan, an area
Congress committee office clerk, and the boy-in-law Mithosh. They've been
remanded to judicial child custody.Law enforcement Athira was introduced dead towards the
government hospital on Friday night. Her parents wanted to accept body back,
however the police were alerted about burn injuries on her behalf body.A subsequent probe into her dying says she was ‘tortured’
throughout a black magic ritual.Deputy SP A Santhosh Kumar stated these rituals were
performed on Athira for 3 days, where she was given only daily. The lady had
been weak and would faint from time to time, he added.At Valsan’s house, Kumar stated, they burned camphor on her
behalf palms and stored about 50 lit incense sticks under her face. “She ended
up being requested to inhale the smoke,” he stated.On Friday, the lady collapsed and it was come to a
healthcare facility. Law enforcement stated she died because the burns on her
behalf palms had become infected
